Mackenzie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She attended Wofford College (Go Terriers!) for her undergraduate studies and received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College. Counseling can be a scary process. And sometimes the process of change is so uncomfortable, it's easier to ignore it or avoid it. That just makes you human! Mackenzie works with teens, young adults, and adults on concerns like anxiety, depression, adjustment to challenging life circumstances, and body image concerns. Mackenzie uses a person-centered, individualized approach for each client’s specific needs and strengths. Everyone is unique and getting to know yourself and your strengths is one of the most useful tools on a path toward wellness!
Outside of the office, Mackenzie has a special place in her heart for a hidden gem of the low country, Fripp Island. When she’s not at the beach you can find her having movie nights with friends and family or checking out new restaurants around Charlotte!
