Professional Background
Lonnie Mullet attended Dallas Theological Seminary to begin professional counseling training in 2002. He began counseling in 2005 and opened his first practice in Charlotte in 2010. Lonnie strives to grow professionally to better serve his clients and his team at Clear Creek Counseling & Consulting PC. He currenly holds counseling licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.
While growing his own practice in Charlotte, Lonnie has helped over three dozen practice owners start practices in North Carolina, Texas, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, California, and South Carolina. He has provided mental health consulting to both small and large group practices. Lonnie has run a mastermind group for practice owners and developed an online course at HelpforCounselors.com.
Clients & Treatment Methods
Over the past twenty years, Lonnie has helped individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges by utilizing his training in the theories of EMDR, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Couples, and Family Systems.
Lonnie also provides one-on-one coaching experiences to business owners, non-profit leaders, and executives. He enjoys helping them overcome obstacles to achieve their dreams both personally and professionally. Personal Interests
Lonnie resides with his wife and three children in Austin, Texas, and continues in his role as Director of Clear Creek Counseling. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with model airplanes and reading books about coaching and change. He also loves cheering on his Cleveland Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers!
