Lonnie Mullet, LPC began his journey as a counselor after first working as a high school language arts teacher. God used this passion with teens in his first clinical experience working with families and teenagers in a private boarding school. From there, he gained new clinical skills and empathy for mental illness working in a community mental health center.
In 2010, he moved to Charlotte to begin his private practice helping families, couples and adults. Often, clients arrive with challenges related to work or relationships that can appear as severe anxiety, depression, or anger problems. He especially enjoys working with men on discovering the power of their own emotions.
In 2005, Lonnie received a three year Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and then completed 3000 hours of supervision to become fully licensed. It has been his privilege to work with teens, adults and couples as well as encouraging counselors in managing their own private practices. Lonnie resides in the Charlotte area with his wife and three children and roots for his long-suffering Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers.
