Rebecca Wong-Simmons is a licensed therapist who has experience in a variety of counseling settings including the hospital, school system, and private practice. Rebecca attended UNC-Chapel Hill during her undergraduate studies and later received a Master’s in Counseling from UNC-Charlotte.
Her goal as a clinician is to help teens, adults, and families build upon their own personal strengths in order to cope with difficult transitions, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, grief/loss, and family issues. Rebecca is passionate about helping clients gain greater insight about themselves, their relationships, and others. Creating a safe and supportive environment is essential to her therapy practice. Her counseling approach is person and client centered, taking into consideration the unique strengths of each individual.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys bicycling, trying new foods, and working on home improvement projects on her “fixer-upper”. Rebecca lives in Charlotte with her husband and her dog Rocky.
